Introduction to Fly Fishing
Join us for an introduction to the fascinating art of fly fishing! You will learn how to cast a fly fishing rod and several casting variations to solve difficult situations. We will discuss fly fishing equipment, fly selection to catch specific fishspecies, how to rig, and tactics for fishing. This session takes place on dry land, and sets aspiring anglers up to pursue fly fishing on thier own. Fly rod and equipment is provided. No fishing license is required as this is a dry land course and no actual in-water fishing is included in the session. We will run rain or shine, so dress for the weather!
