Raise a Paddle For the Animals!

Are you ready to raise a paddle for local animals in need? Turn your passion for animals into some much-needed funds for local animals in need and join us for our Raise a Paddle For the Animals Community Relay Race happening during the Ottawa Valley Doggy Paddle on Sunday, August 14th!

We are now recruiting adventurous community-minded animal lovers to compete in a Team Relay Race that will include both a “water and dirt” component following the paddle and lunch.

Grab a few friends, family (furry family too) or co-workers and get on board to help the animals in our Community! Teams are invited to fundraise a minimum of $250.00 to compete in our Community Relay Race! All funds raised will stay right here in Renfrew County to help the most vulnerable animals live their very best lives!

What do you need to join?

1. Gather a team of 3-6 participants, all ages (and animals) welcome!!
2. Email Heather Jobe at hjobe@ontariospca.ca to reserve your spot
3. Start fundraising to raise a paddle and make a difference for animals in your community!

No SUP/kayak/canoe?  No worries! Just let us know and we can source you one!

The winning team will take home bragging rights and the Golden Paddle Trophy to show off and cherish until next year’s Doggy Paddle!!

**This is a pawesome way for local businesses to get involved too,  sponsorships opportunities are still available! **

WATER SAFETY – ALL paddlers will require a safety kit.

Paddlers under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult and wear all safety equipment.   To ensure top-notch safety for all of our guests, lifejackets are recommended for all Canine/Feline/Animal guests too!
