The Town of Petawawa will be the host area for this year's 4th Annual Ottawa Valley Doggy Paddle in support of the Ontario SPCA Renfrew County Animal Centre!

Canoe with your canine, kayak for a kitten or SUP with your Pup in support of a great cause. No sidekick, no problem - come out with your two-legged friends to enjoy some time on the water in support of the Ontario SPCA Renfrew County Animal Centre. No bat or board? We've got you covered.

DATE: Sunday, August 11, 2024
TIME:
9:00 am Check-in 
10:00 am Doggy-Paddle launches from beach
Followed by a meal and more fun on the water!

LOCATION: Petawawa Point Beach, 1 Island View Drive, Petawawa, ON K8H 3R2

COST:  $50 Price includes a participant meal, gentle social paddle, cool event swag and t-shirt.

COMMUNITY RELAY RACE: NEW WAY FOR LOCAL BUSINESSES TO GET ON BOARD FOR LOCAL ANIMALS IN NEED! 

Are you ready to raise a paddle for local animals in need? Turn your passion for animals into some much-needed funds for local animals in need and join us for our raise a Paddle for the Animals Community Relay Race happening during the Ottawa Valley Doggy Paddle, part of Water and Dirt Festival on Sunday, August 11th, at Petawawa Point, Town of Petawawa.

What do you need to join?

  1. Gather a team of 3-6 participants, all ages (and animals) welcome!!
  2. Register your team and each team member... click here!
  3. Email Heather Jobe at hjobe@ontariospca.ca to reserve your spot
  4. Start fundraising to raise a paddle and make a difference for animals in our community!
    No SUP/kayak/canoe? No worries! Just let us know and we can source you one!

IMPORTANT SAFETY INFO:

WATER SAFETY – ALL paddlers will require a safety kit.  

Paddlers under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult and wear all safety equipment.   To ensure top-notch safety for all of our guests, lifejackets are recommended for all Canine/Feline/Animal guests too!
